Jason Stanley earned his Juris Doctor from Concordia University School of Law in 2017. During law school, he interned at the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office and volunteered at legal and wills clinics for the Boise Veterans Administration.
Before joining Sullivan Law Office, Mr. Stanley served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Coeur d’Alene and as a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Bannock County, focusing on felony cases involving gang and violent crimes. He also worked as a Deputy Public Defender in Bonner and Bannock Counties, handling both felony and misdemeanor matters.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Stanley served 17 years in the United States Marine Corps and the Idaho Army National Guard, with combat deployments to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, and assignments as an Embassy Guard in Santiago, Chile, and Doha, Qatar. Honorably discharged in 2015 as a Sergeant First Class, he received the Combat Action Ribbon, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Combat Action Badge, and numerous other awards.
In 2024, he received the Idaho State Bar Association’s Denise O’Donnell-Day Pro Bono Award for providing pro bono legal advice to Idaho’s veterans through the Idaho Military Legal Alliance and the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program.
