Robyn received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho in December of 2017, graduating a semester early with Dean's List honors. During law school, Robyn interned with both the Kootenai County Public Defender and the Nez Perce County Prosecutor, where she learned how to manage cases strategically in order to achieve the best results for her clients.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Robyn gained a unique perspective of the criminal justice system when she began her career in law enforcement in 2003 as a corrections officer in the State of Idaho. Later, Robyn worked as a 9-1-1 calltaker, dispatcher, and trainer for the Kootenai County Sheriff's Department, where she solidified her ability to think critically and act diligently under pressure, while providing superior customer service to those in need. Additionally, for two years, Robyn worked as a Courtroom Clerk for several Washington State Superior Court Justices, mostly in the family law department, where she gained valuable experience regarding divorce, child custody, and child protection cases.
Aside from a few years in Washington and North Dakota, Robyn has been a lifelong resident of Northern Idaho, originally from St. Maries. Robyn's valuable life experiences, coupled with her ability to empathize and recognize how emotionally taxing the criminal justice system is for you and your loved ones, allows Robyn to stand apart.
